Canada KAL/CAL 2016: Timestamp: 52:00
–We are going to be starting a Knitting Along (KAL/CAL) on July 1st called the Canada KAL/CAL 2016 which will run for 3 months, until September 30th. For this KAL/CAL please use the #2016CanadaKAL.
–The basic premise would be that projects submitted would include one or more elements that are Canadian, whether it be the yarn, design, or theme of the project or even the name of the colorway. For example, Knit Picks’ Hawthorne yarn has some colorways named after Canadian places, such as Vancouver. A project that had to do with the maple leaf, or beavers would also be acceptable.
–We hope to include other Canadian podcasters and we will list here those that will host their own Canada Kal so you can participate in theirs as well if you like.
The basic rules would be:
-no sign-ups necessary
-one entry per project and as many projects as you like during the KAL/CAL.
-each entry must say what is Canadian about it.
-if a project has two Canadian elements to it, the participant can enter it twice but must refer to both elements.
-A project must use more than 25 grams.
-Feel free to multi-dip in other KALs/CAL
