Poking around on the Needles:


Test Knit: Blue Jeans Shawl by Julia Allen a.k.a. julsey designer of MonsterMania and Diane Lanthier a.k.a.freedom4u and owner of The Knotted Bag on Etsy. I am knitting this out of Filatura Di Crosa Zara in the Kelly Green colorway on size 4.5 mm (US7)

Yowza Weigh it Shawl by susanbanderson out of MissBabs Yowza in Biker Chick colorway, I am in a KAL in theBags by Awesome Grannie group hosted by AwesomeGrannie. Knit on size 5.5 mm (US9).

In Stillness by Alicia Plummer AliciaPlum out of Ella Rae that I bought at Stitches Midwest, knit on size 4.5 mm (US7). Did my gauge swatch and I am able to make the largest size 41.5 but with my gauge I will get my size of 45 ish inches at the bust. There is a KAL in the PlumDandi group on Rav!

Pin Striped Socks by Julia Swart out of Lollipop yarn in the Downton Abbey colourway on size 2.5mm (US1.5)


Basic Child Mitt by Elizabeth Durand out of Bernat Softi Chunky on size 5 mm (US8). She tried to do a flap for the mitt but it ended up to wide, will tink it and start that part over.

Secret Knitting out of Katia Mexico yarn on size G hook, 4mm

Yarn from Alison a.k.a. alicats of My Colour Wheelhouse sent us some samples of her yarn, she is a new dyer and from Canada so even better to promote our own home grown talent. The yarn so soft and squishy and the colours are amazing!
